Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of step-down experience and a rotating day/night schedule.

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in step-down or a comparable specialty prior to travel
• Minimum 18 months of recent step-down experience (travel experience accepted)
• PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Work in the Heart and Vascular Thoracic Institute (HVTI) Step-Down unit of a large academic hospital
• Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift times may vary based on operational needs of the hospital
• Two professional references required for consideration
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation — a passing score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
