Shift: PRN, Variable Shifts and Days
Metro Health System has been delivering high-quality patient-centered care for nearly two centuries, and its Level One Trauma Center and specialty units are at the forefront of medicine. The Burn Intensive Care Unit, 3 West, relies on advanced technology such as patient lifts, hands‑free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring.
Primary Patient Population- Adult and Pediatric
- Severe Burns
- Frostbite
- Necrotizing Tissue Disease
- Care for hemodynamic instabilities
- Complex wound care
- Managing surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, and CRRT
- Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Trauma/Burn Surgeons, Respiratory Therapy, Child Life Specialists
- 8 inpatient beds
- Outpatient Clinic
- Verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center (1 of 2 in Ohio)

Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- BSN.
- Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
