Job

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking for long periods, bending, leaning and stooping without difficulty, lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift patients up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain required vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus) to monitor equipment.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with recent acute care experience (1‑2 years).
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and 2 years of nursing experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
