Occupational Health RN

Registered Nurse-Occupational Health needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Cleveland, OH.

• Registered Nurse
• Occupational Health/Employee Health/Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine

• Administers professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
• Will also be part of the first response team, triage injured employees until outside EMS transport arrives at plant.
• Performs and evaluates various clinical and diagnostic tests
• Medical surveillance:
  Hearing exams, physicals
• Assists plant physician in minor surgical procedures
• Interviews and documents medical history in their Cority System
• Works effectively with the Health Services team and other departments
• Maintains appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy
• Performs and documents physical exams
• Adheres to common practices and procedures throughout the department
• Maintains equipment and supplies
• Assists with the promotion of plant wellness programs
• Interfaces with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner

• RN Diploma/Associate degree required, BSN or BS preferred
• Valid RN license in the state
• Two or more years’ nursing experience preferred, ER or Occupational Health preferred
• Certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
