About This Role
As a PRN Nursing Operations Manager in the Emergency Department, you will manage quality patient care and administrative decisions related to nursing, ensuring appropriate patient placement and facilitating patient throughput.
Highlights- Pay: $47.00/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Emergency Department
- Schedule: Per Diem, Variable
- Identify and ensure appropriate placement, facilitation, and expedition of all patient flow transactions.
- Address significant patient issues throughout the house and communicate with relevant leaders.
- Handle staffing needs and make modifications to ensure equitable staffing arrangements.
- Manage the patient experience trans-organizationally to optimize resources for a safe environment.
- Monitor and adhere to the annual hospital operating budget.
- Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions for budget compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Three years of experience in an acute care setting
- Three years of management experience preferred
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
