About This Role

The RN Surgery Resident in the Cardiothoracic OR at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is responsible for providing nursing care in an operative setting, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure exceptional patient care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Cardiothoracic OR
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Participate in a comprehensive orientation program for smooth transition into the surgical environment.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• One year of RN experience or completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within six months of hire.
