About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident in Orthopedics at Cleveland Clinic, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care, interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
• Assist in delivering exceptional care from initial introduction to final send‑off.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to supply healthcare information.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• New grad RN or less than one year of RN work experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
