American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Float pool position within a hospital's Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12 hour schedule (7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm)
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the facility, though preferred shift will be honored when possible
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active RN license (Ohio permanent or compact) required in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty being applied for
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience, travel experience accepted
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment must be passed during orientation

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients across the float pool and related units
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignment length options of 13 or 20 weeks available for winter coverage
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Previous employees cannot return to the facility for 1 year from their previous end date
