American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• ,
• Potential to float to additional units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• ,
• Day/Night rotating 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM or 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
• ,
• Shift assignments may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• ,
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• ,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ,
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty being applied for

• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required (travel experience accepted)
• ,
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit, with potential floating to other units and the ED

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

• Assignment length available for 13 or 20 weeks, providing winter coverage

• Candidates who previously worked as permanent or per diem staff at this health system must wait 1 year from their end date before returning

• Extensions on assignment allowed up to 18 months total, with a required 6-month break before returning
