American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12 hour schedule (7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm)
• Shifts may be adjusted by the facility to meet operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• 20-week assignment for winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also accepted

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation with a passing score

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients, with potential float coverage to related units and the ED
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system within 1 year of their previous end date
• A 6-month break is required before returning to this health system, unless client-approved
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months
