Registered Nurse - MS​/Tele

Med/Surg Tele RN

Provide direct patient care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients. Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and Emergency Department to care for similar patient populations. Work 3x12 hour shifts per week (7pm-7:30am and/or 7am-7:30pm); must be willing to rotate day/night shifts as needed. Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety (safe Medicate) assessments during orientation.

Accurately document and submit worked hours using Qualivis – Lotus system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations. Required to work at least every other holiday. Utilize strong clinical skills and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment. Maintain current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Must hold a permanent Ohio or Compact state RN license. Required minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and 18 months permanent experience in the specialty.
