About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to provide exceptional care in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment focused on post-operative patients.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour

  Full-time, Day shift with night rotation and weekend requirements

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients' medical records.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience required
• If experienced RN, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for Critical Care areas
