About This Role

As an RN in the Postpartum Mother/Baby Unit at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns, facilitating education and a smooth transition to home. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about maternal and infant health.

• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Fairview Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• 2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants.
• Less than 2 years of experience for internal applicants, with Chief Nursing Officer approval considered.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
