Operating Room Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room to provide perioperative care. The candidate will support surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure procedures are executed smoothly.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout the operative process.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with surgical instrumentation.
• Document patient care, procedures, and postoperative instructions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent OR nursing experience.
• Active certifications such as BLS, and ACLS if required, must be in hand.
• Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation.
• Provide at least one recent reference from a supervisor or manager in the operating room.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterile techniques, perioperative protocols, and patient monitoring.
