Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Job Opportunity

Provide high-quality inpatient care to patients requiring monitored observation and stepdown treatments in a specialized unit. Ensure patient safety, assessment, and timely intervention to promote optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to abnormal findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including compliance with screening and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio license or compact state license.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown settings.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Complete required assessments with acceptable scores, including ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests.
• Provide a recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for.
• Be willing to undergo background checks and drug screening as per facility requirements.
