Nurse Manager – Trauma Nursing Floor

The Nurse Manager for the Trauma Nursing Floor at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus will lead a new nursing unit dedicated to trauma care. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about building teams and shaping the future of trauma nursing.

• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Manage the operation and practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Establish clinical direction of nursing care and maintain quality outcomes.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
• Supervise caregivers and promote their development.
• Maintain adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate unit operations with other units/departments.
• Develop and monitor budgets and approve purchases.
• Analyze personnel structure and determine staffing needs.
• Evaluate performance and conduct selection and termination processes.
• Participate in clinical nursing research and support foundation research activities.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience:
  • Three years of recent nursing clinical experience required
  • At least one year of healthcare management experience required
  • Two years of healthcare management experience preferred
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
