American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment length of 20 weeks with 13-week options also considered
• Providing winter coverage for the unit

• Active RN license, permanent Ohio or compact license required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent MS/Tele experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the MS/Tele specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references are not accepted
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation with an acceptable score, limited to 2 attempts

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement, though this exemption is temporary and subject to change
• Background check hits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but open cases will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Extensions beyond 18 months require a 6-month break before returning unless approved by the client
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
