Schedule:
Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit, delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry experience and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a medical-surgical telemetry environment.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, documenting changes and responding to patient needs efficiently.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Assist with patient education and self-management strategies for chronic conditions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
- Must hold a valid Permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- References from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty applying for are required.
