Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry position. This contract role offers night shifts and requires extensive clinical experience and proper licensure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring appropriate response to arrhythmias.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, adhering to clinical standards.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Comply with all licensing, certification, and travel requirements for facility approval.
• Participate in orientation, assessments, and annual training modules as mandated by the facility.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS, with active credentials in hand.
• Demonstrate ECG rhythm recognition skills and pass safe Medicate assessments during orientation.
• Provide one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months.
• Be willing to complete pre-start background checks, including BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours.
