Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry for night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess active certifications and a valid Ohio or compact license to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care within the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, adhering to facility protocols.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training, including assessments and modules.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including medication safety and infection control.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months’ recent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry settings.
• Active certifications, including BLS and ACLS, required and in hand.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening, including nicotine testing if applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and excellent communication abilities.
