Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to post-procedure patients, primarily those recovering from cardiac or interventional procedures, in a Med/Tele setting. Ensure patient safety, monitor recovery progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients’ post-procedure status to ensure stability and recovery progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following clinical guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies to maintain safety.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1-year critical care or cardiac experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
