Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting. Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing services while adhering to facility policies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition continuously and identify changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care, assessments, and progress in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and infection control measures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Ohio RN license or Compact State License in hand at the time of application.
• Demonstrate at least 18 months of recent perm or travel experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Hold active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Show proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments.
• Be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, with holiday coverage as needed.
• Have current negative drug screen and background check as per facility requirements.
