Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a proactive approach to patient assessment and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans in accordance with medical directives.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg or Telemetry nursing experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Show proficiency in patient communication and education.
• Preferably hold a BSN or professional certification recognized by Magnet.
