Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position with potential for extension.
Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
The role of the Registered Nurse will involve providing care for patients in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care and monitoring vital signs.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records.
- Educating patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- MUST have an active Permanent Ohio or Compact state nursing license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
- One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
