New Grad RN Resident - Med​/Surg and Oncology

About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, you will provide exceptional care in the Med/Surg and Oncology units while participating in a comprehensive Nurse Residency program. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates looking to enhance their skills in a supportive environment.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Fairview Hospital
• Department/Unit: Parkview I Oncology and Women’s Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience required.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Chemo competent within the first 6 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if in a Critical Care area.
