The Surgical Services Clinical Coordinator provides coordination and direct supervision for clinical OR activities, including implementation and evaluation of nursing care, provision of clinical support, nursing staff resource and to ensure continuity of appropriate patient care by planning staff assignments, provision of direct patient care, patient outcome evaluation and by acting as liaison to physicians and ancillary departments.
Key Responsibilities- Promotes excellence in all clinical activities on the Unit as a clinical expert
- Provides for and evaluates the quality of patient care through direct observation and assessment in collaboration with resources nurses
- Provides relief for staff for break periods to ensure adequate patient care as needed
- Serves as a clinical resource to staff.
- BSN degree or in process
- Ohio RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- PALS within six months
- 5+ years OR Nurse experience
- CNOR
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
