Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a telemetry setting during night shifts. Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical standards through skilled assessment and medication administration.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing telemetry systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Record accurate clinical documentation and assist with patient education.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards, including certifications and licensing.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and participate in required training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at the time of application.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• BLS and ACLS certifications valid and current.
• Demonstrated competency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and acute patient care.
• Ability to pass health screening assessments, including drug screens and background checks.
