Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN Opportunity

Seeking a Med/Surg Tele FLOAT POOL RN to provide expert nursing care on a rotating shift basis. This role involves floating to multiple units, including general floors and Emergency Department, to support patient needs during winter coverage periods.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patients according to hospital protocols.
• Float between units such as J1-2, J33, and ED, adapting to operational demands.
• Perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to all facility policies, including sanitation, safety, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold 18 months of recent permanent or travel experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Possess a current Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of application.
• Be actively certified in American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments.
• Provide at least one recent managerial reference from the past 12 months.
• Complete all orientation assessments successfully with an acceptable score.
