Description:
Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required. Charge training and shadowing are offered. This is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. The typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients, post-op bariatric surgery patients, and other general medical/surgical patients. This unit has 12 available step-down beds. These beds are not dedicated or reserved and will be filled with medical/surgical patients when there are no step-down patients.
While there is an effort to ensure step-down patients are assigned to this unit staff, assignments cannot be guaranteed, and travelers may be required to care for step-down patients. Please consider this when applying.
