RN – Inpatient Pediatric Rehab

About This Role

As an RN in the Inpatient Pediatric Rehab unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide patient-first healthcare to pediatric patients requiring rehabilitation. • Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience required.
• Rehab experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within one year of hire.
