RN Surgery – Cardiothoracic

About This Role

As an RN in the Cardiothoracic OR at Cleveland Clinic, you will perform complex surgical operations using advanced techniques and equipment. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Cardiothoracic OR
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient condition.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis and suturing.
• Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
