RN Surgery Weekender Flex – Cardiothoracic

About This Role

The RN Surgery Weekender Flex position in the Cardiothoracic OR at Cleveland Clinic involves providing professional nursing care during surgical procedures. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking for a flexible schedule while delivering exceptional patient care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Main Campus Hospital
• Department/Unit: Cardiothoracic OR
• Schedule: Full-time, Weekend days + one day shift during the week

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient condition.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis and suturing.
• Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN required)

Experience:

• One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred within 6 months of hire
