Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with malignant hematologic disorders in a 30-bed inpatient unit. Support stem cell transplant and CAR-T infusion procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver specialized oncology nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and manage side effects during treatments and infusion procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatments, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold an ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in bone marrow transplant (BMT) nursing.
• Be a licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge of hematologic malignancies and infusion therapies.
• Exhibit excellent patient communication and team collaboration skills.
• Be flexible to participate in day and night rotations every 2 weeks.
