American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• 20-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered
• Day/Night rotating shift schedule (3x12 hours), with shifts potentially variable to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience accepted)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum two attempts)
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• No hits on professional license will be accepted
