Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care in a fast-paced healthcare setting for an 18-week coverage period, with options for 13 weeks. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, adhering to strict compliance requirements, and ensuring clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, maintaining patient safety and responding to arrhythmias appropriately.
• Document patient status, clinical interventions, and care provided in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and respond swiftly to changes in condition or emergencies.
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and compliance with all procedural and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 18 months recent perm experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.
• Possess a permanent Ohio license or valid compact license at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate active certifications including BLS and ACLS; NIHSS willingness required.
• Provide a recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty within the past 12 months.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Meet travel compliance requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and licensure.
