Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive care to adult patients in the Med/Surg Tele float pool, functioning across multiple units including J1-2, J33, and ED as needed. Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and implement personalized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform wound care following established procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Maintain an active Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, relevant MS/Tele nursing experience, including travel experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successfully pass background checks and drug screening requirements.
• Provide at least one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months.
