American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• 20-week assignment with 13-week options available for winter coverage
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours): 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs of the hospital
• Every other holiday coverage required

• Active OH RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience accepted)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• References must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required
• Up to two attempts allowed to pass required assessments
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
