Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2080.80/week –

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult inpatients in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on orthopedics, neuro-surgical, and level 1 trauma patients. Aim to deliver safe, high-quality care while promoting patient safety and positive experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication during bedside hand-offs and proactive rounding.
• Prioritize patient safety and implement measures to prevent harm.
• Educate patients and families about care procedures and pain management strategies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active, valid RN license.
• Demonstrate experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably with orthopedics, neuro-surgical, or trauma patients.
• Possess excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Maintain current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
