Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provides high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemonitoring patients in a hospital setting. Rotates through various units to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs, record observations, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical assessments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess 18+ months of recent, combined perm experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and ECG rhythm recognition.
• Demonstrate proficiency in safe Medicate assessments with qualifying scores.
• Complete all required background checks, drug screens, and compliance documentation prior to start.
• Ability to work night or day rotating shifts, including every other holiday.
