Job Summary:

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, overseeing the recovery and treatment of adult patients. They collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and family members on health management and post-discharge care.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in a Medical Surgical department.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, procedures, and electronic health records.
• CPR/BLS certification.
