About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident in the Cardiovascular Stepdown units at Cleveland Clinic, you will play a vital role in promoting positive patient outcomes through innovative, evidence-based technologies and best practices. This position is ideal for new graduates looking to enhance their nursing skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

• Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am
• Sign-On Bonus: Not mentioned

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)

• New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

• Robust continuing education opportunities, including online and in-person courses designed to advance nursing practice.
