About This Role
The New Grad RN Resident in General Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus provides exceptional care to adult patients with complex multi-system failure issues. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates looking to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: General Internal Medicine
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care from initial introduction to discharge.
- Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
- Provide healthcare education as needed.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients’ medical records.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- New grad or less than one year RN work experience
- If experienced RN, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Professional growth through a one-year, accredited Nurse Residency program
