Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 13–20 Week Assignments Available

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes across rotating day and night shifts
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate evaluations, achieving acceptable scores within two attempts
• Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (preferred within one location; combined experience accepted)
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted); one manager-level reference from a relevant assignment within the past 12 months required
• Locals are welcome and accepted

• Experience concentrated within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location rather than across multiple facilities
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication safety assessment tools
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or high-volume hospital setting

• Opportunity to work at a nationally recognized acute care facility with a structured onboarding and competency development program
• Flexible contract lengths available, with potential for extensions up to 18 months for high-performing candidates
