RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit; PACU

About This Role

As an RN in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus, you will provide care for post-surgical patients recovering from anesthesia. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
