About This Role

The PRN RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus provides critical care to high acuity patients. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

  Per Diem, Variable shifts

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
• Experience: 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting for external applicants. Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered with approval.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN);
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment.
