About This Role
As an RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide critical care to high-acuity patients while collaborating with a dedicated team. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who excel in delivering exceptional patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
- One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting or Military RN License required
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment
