About This Role

The RN in the Cardiovascular Medicine Stepdown Unit provides high-acuity, specialized care to cardiac patients in a dynamic 25-bed unit. This role is ideal for skilled nurses looking to enhance their cardiac expertise in a collaborative environment.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic
• Department/Unit: Cardiovascular Medicine Stepdown Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Day/Night rotation

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
• Experience:
  • One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
• Licenses &

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required upon hire or within the first year of employment
