About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident in the Cardiovascular Stepdown unit at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus provides essential nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates looking to develop their skills in a supportive and advanced healthcare environment.

Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour

Schedule:

Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience preferred. Will consider military RN experience.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
