About This Role
Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus as an RN in the Digestive Disease General Surgery Unit, providing world‑class care for patients undergoing complex abdominal surgeries. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers looking to work in a leading healthcare organization.
Highlights- Pay: $33.50 - $53.60 per hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Schedule: Day/night rotation, 7:00 am—7:30 pm
- Sign‑On Bonus: Not mentioned
- Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform scrub functions, selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions during procedures.
- Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks, including hemostasis and suturing.
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment for use.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Experience: Internal applicants: 1 year of recent related clinical experience;
External applicants: 2 years of recent related clinical experience - Licenses &
Certifications:
Current RN licensure;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire if performing moderate/procedural sedation
