About This Role
The Experienced RN - Cardiology Stepdown position at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus involves providing fast-paced nursing care to a select medical cardiac patient population. This role is ideal for dedicated nurses who thrive in a supportive environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Cardiology Stepdown
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
